The European Wonderful Artwork Basis (TEFAF), has unveiled a exclusive preview of works that will appear at the 2nd iteration of TEFAF On-line, functioning September 9-13, 2021 with an invitation-only preview on September 8, 2021. This “First Look” presents a glimpse into the top quality, breadth and depth of artwork accessible at TEFAF Online 2021 to people gathering throughout styles, eras, cultures, and mediums. Over 700 functions of art will be displayed digitally at the honest, which will also start new capabilities, including TEFAF Collection internet pages and interactive programming.

Between the highlights, Lisson Gallery, New York, will present Marina Abramovic’s (Serbia, b.1946) Seven Deaths: The Snake, 2020-21, a single in a sequence of seven carved alabaster self-portraits, which correspond to an immersive cinematic encounter the artist debuted past 12 months in Munich that explores her ties to the tragic determine of Callas.

Bailly Gallery, Geneva-Paris, will screen Diego Giacometti’s (Switzerland, 1902-1985) Table Basse Rectangulaire aux Pattes Octogonales, 1957, a breathtaking instance of the sought-just after artist’s perform with bronze, wrought iron and Belgium black marble.

Kallos Gallery, London, will showcase Head Fragment of a Polykleitan Youth, 500 Advert, attributed to Polykleitos (Greece). The Roman marble head fragment of the Polykleitan youth encapsulates the complete bodily best of a younger person of mid-5th century BC Greece, the top of Athenian classicism for which Polykleitan sculpture was so revered.
