Grassroots and Indigenous Environmental Leaders Convene for Land Circle Activation in Philadelphia


This summertime, grassroots and Indigenous environmental leaders from during Lenapehoking will keep three community events for link, celebration, information-sharing, and therapeutic: a Summer time Solstice, a Juneteenth Celebration, and a panel on community land defense and stewardship. These Land Circle Activation functions will choose position in a pop-up hub space supported by the Local weather Justice Initiative (CJI). at Cesar Andreú Iglesias Group Backyard in Kensington, Philadelphia, a multi-generational local community of growers and neighborhood organizing undertaking.
