pt. 2 Gallery is delighted to present Light-weight In Hand, a solo exhibition of new operates by Kelly Ording. In Ording’s third solo exhibition with the gallery, she hones her experimentations as way to spotlight the emotive features of shade. The human knowledge of recording time is not mechanical – as interpreted by Ording time is unconfined and particular. The centered, repetitive forms central to Ording’s oeuvre every have a special beginning and conclusion. Alongside the way way, they subtly vibrate with the waves and permutations of the artist’s deliberate and gentle touch, just about every mark distinctive in its individual way. Several of the foundational forms extensive repeated in Ording’s get the job done are sorts of open loops – rounded forms that portray the passage of time as fluid and ever switching.
