Local artist hopes to inspire peace for Ukraine with community involved art


MIAMI – Artist Kyle Holbrook needs to advertise peace in Ukraine with his street artwork but needs to get his neighborhood concerned as properly.

“It’s a universal language a common symbol of peace. Which is what my art is about, not just portray rather photographs,” Holbrook stated.

Now his goal is to acquire as numerous people as he can to consider aspect in the art piece for Ukraine.

He desires men and women to occur and increase to it, he began his own contribution on Wednesday but hopes people will leap onto the Airbnb application and both donate to the result in or be part of him in developing the information.

He’s supplying this as a new Airbnb practical experience to create “Walkway of Peace,” a 1,000-foot-very long mural focused to Ukraine. As a symbol of solidarity, he’s inviting folks to add their footprints, handprints, and other photos to the function.


Holbrook claims this all started with Ukrainian artist, Nina Chepovska when she painted the initial mural on this walkway.

“Nina did hers, I’m executing a peace image and it’s suitable below so anyone will see it, Airbnb they can go and lead,” Holbrook said.

The locale of this portray is on the corner of Northwest 36th Road and Northwest Fifth Avenue.

This is a hugely seen location and Holbrook thinks the mural will even be found by some airplanes that fly by.
