While he moved to northern California in his twenties, Gandiol retains a European sensibility in his landscapes and cityscapes.    My grandparents who lived in Paris had been a good inspiration to me. They beloved art. The walls of their property had been adorned with numerous paintings. My grandpa took me with him to visit some artists’ studios and museums and also to concert events and plays. I keep in mind doing some wooden sculpting (really tough) employing the quite a few equipment he had.
